Last Sunday of the Month
May 28th @ 8am – 10am PT
PCA San Diego is inviting you to join us for Cars and Conversations every last Sunday of every month from 8am – 10am.
For the month of May, please join us at the Embarcadero Marina Park North Parking Lot.
ALL Porsche Models are welcome but all GT3 Porsches are the highlight for the month of May.
Although we tried to select locations with restroom facilities, please keep in mind that the public restrooms may be closed during the event and we have no control over the facilities so please plan accordingly.
With the change in format, we have secured a mobile coffee truck called Beetlebean Street Cafe (IG:Beetlebean68.) We ask that you help support this local business on the day of the event so that they may continue to be our mobile coffee truck option for our rotating monthly Cars and Conversations events.
Meet at: Embarcadero Marina Park North Parking Lot at 8am, 400 Kettner Blvd, San Diego
Highlight for the month: GT3 Models
With the start of the summer months, what better way to celebrate than to highlight the model line that started something special for Porsche, the GT3. What started in 2004 for the US as a niche vehicle turned into a model line that is now very well respected. With that, we’re highlighting all GT3’s from the 996.2 GT3 to the 992 GT3 and even the GT3 Touring models and the 991.2 (GT3) Speedster.
Please know that when you’re attending these events, you’re representing Porsche Club of America San Diego Region and the greater Porsche community. The locations that we select are all in our own neighborhoods with many folks walking around whether it be with kids, dogs, grand parents, friends, tourists, etc. With that being said, please enter/exit the event and community in a calm, safe, respectful, quiet, and responsible manner. That means no revving your engine. No loud music. No speeding. No Tokyo Drifting. Hopefully, you get the message.
We do not want to receive complaints and then jeopardize these events as they have been very well received. Please do not be the one to ruin it for the rest of us as that is how we basically ended up at Jessie’s Bake Shop.
Lastly, since there is only one of me, if you witness someone doing anything that jeopardizes the event, please call them out on the spot and bring it to my attention. We’re all in this together and sometimes, it takes a village.
