The La Jolla Motor Car Classic at La Jolla Concours d’Elegance
La Jolla Concours D’Elegance Motor Car Classic & April 22-24 2022
After a one year hiatus the Motor Car Classic (MCC) at the La Jolla Concours returns on April 24th, 2022. This year the only car club invited to attend is our own PCASDR. There will be no cars on the traditional hill location; all of our cars will be placed in line at the bottom of Girard Avenue next to the La Jolla Concours site on Ellen Browning Scripps Park. As with previous years there will be a beautiful Concours Trophy presented to one of our Concours entrants.
We will be able to stage up to 36 Porsche cars on a first come first served basis, so please register your entry ASAP using the website lajollaconcours.com. Additionally, all of our club members have been invited to take part in the Tour D’Elegance which runs on Saturday morning (April 23rd, 2022), visiting three well known local car collections and finishing with a beach held luncheon at the La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club in La Jolla Shores. Please note that, while these are not PCASDR events, both of these events are open to all PCASDR members and you may chose to do either one of them or both of them by visiting the website lajollaconcours.com and registering.
PCASDR will have the usual hospitality tent available to ALL club members whether or not they are registered for the Sunday Concours, Sunday MCC or the Saturday Tour D’Elegance. So come down, visit La Jolla, walk around, see the sites and visit your PCASDR hospitality tent on Sunday at the MCC Concours. If you plan on coming to the hospitality tent, please REGISTER so we know how many to expect. You must be REGISTERED to be eligible for the DOOR PRIZES!!!
