PCA-SDR Performance Driving School (PDS)

“Sometimes, in order to find your limits … you have to exceed them.”
This three-day school (Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday all day) is intended to teach PCA members Performance Driving techniques and is not driver training to teach attendees to drive. Entry requirements to this school include that you must be a PCA member and already be fully able to drive. This school teaches Performance Driving techniques in a safe environment enabling PCA members to:
— Learn and practice Performance Driving skills in their Porsche that can be applied to any driving situation in any vehicle.
— Safely learn the capabilities of their Porsche in a controlled environment with the guidance of experienced instructors.
— Increase the enjoyment of Porsche ownership by significantly improving their driving skills.
This safe, educational, fun and rewarding weekend normally sells out so don’t delay – register early.
No prior Performance Driving experience is required.
Up to 2 PCA members per Porsche may register – each member must register separately.
Available only to PCA members at a cost of $395 per person. Registration is only available online and requires payment with a credit card. Payment by check and registration by mail are not available.
The PDS curriculum is as follows:
Friday “Chalk Talk” (Classroom instruction) 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Black Forest Automotive, 8066 Engineer Road, Kearny Mesa, CA, 92111 (Dinner will be provided). Link to MAP
Saturday Driving Exercises (Many performed on a skid pad) 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Qualcomm Stadium’s West Lot, 9449 Friars Road, San Diego, CA, 92108 (Breakfast & Lunch provided).
Sunday Non-competitive Autocross (All day instruction) 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Qualcomm Stadium’s West Lot, 9449 Friars Road, San Diego, CA, 92108 (Breakfast & Lunch provided).
Limited to 48 Entrants. You may still register if this number is reached, and you will be wait-listed and notified of any cancelations.
Cancelation and “No-show” Policy: You may cancel your registration any time prior to 5:00 PM Monday, February 29, 2016. After 5pm. on 02/29/2016, refunds are only possible if your place can be filled with another paying candidate who is qualified to attend the school. “No-shows” are not eligible to receive refunds. Under extreme circumstances, refunds may be granted at the discretion of the Chief Driving Instructors.
