PCA-SDR is trying something new for members who would be interested in driving their Porsche to Palm Springs to stay Saturday night and then to head out Sunday morning to go to the event at Chuckwalla Raceway that weekend to get a firsthand look at how SDR runs our Drivers Education/TT track events.
All Attendees will be required to fully comply with COVID requirements – including signing the SDR Speedwaiver, mandatory wearing of facemasks and maintaining social distancing.
Once at the track on Sunday morning, there will be a Tech Session by Völlig Autowerks discussing track event requirements. This is a rare opportunity to take your Porsche out on the track (at reduced speeds) during the lunchtime track tour led by an SDR Instructor.
The drive out to Palm Springs would start at noon on Saturday April 3rd from the South West Corner of Westfield North County Fair (near BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse) and head via backroads to Palm Springs.

The organizers are working to get outdoor restaurant reservations in Palm Springs on Saturday evening.
Those wishing to do so can spend Sunday in Palm Springs but, on Sunday morning, we will caravan out to Chuckwalla Valley Raceway where participants will be given the opportunity to experience a look at our big track events and the option to take their own Porsche on the track for the lunch time track tour at reduced speed.

Additionally, each person entering Chuckwalla Track will be subject to a mandatory charge of a $10 entry fee by the track (this fee is independent of PCA-SDR).
