PCA San Diego is inviting you to join us for Cars and Sunset from 4:45pm – 8:00pm.
For the event, we will meet at Target parking lot in Mission Valley and from there convoy to Silver Strand State Beach to enjoy the beautiful San Diego spring sunset.
Please note:
ALL Porsche Models are welcome.
Although we tried to select a location with restroom facilities, please keep in mind that the public restrooms may be closed during the event and we have no control over the facilities.
With the change in format, we have secured a mobile coffee truck called Analog & Grit. We ask that you help support this local business on the day of the event so that they may continue to be our mobile coffee truck option for our rotating monthly Cars and Conversations events.
Please note that there is a limit of 50 people for this event. If we reach our 50 people limit, please continue to register and join the waitlist. If enough people are on the waitlist, I can contact the city about allowing additional people.

PCA SDR is trying something different and we invite you to join the fun. Cars and Conversations have been going very well but have you been wishing for an event later in the day? Well, here’s your chance to enjoy your Porsches along with a beautiful late summer/early fall San Diego sunset.
We will begin the event by meeting at the Target parking lot in Mission Valley where we will conduct the safety debrief and check everybody in. From here, we will convoy driving 8 West, 163 South and then 5 South and crossing over the Coronado bridge. From here, we will drive through Orange Ave in Coronado and make our way to Silver Strand State Beach driving along Silver Strand Blvd/CA-75.
PCA SDR has reserved a parking lot just for this event so you will not be driving around looking for parking. Only Porsches from the event will be parked in our reserved lot. Once arrived, you’re free to park your car and enjoy the evening watching the sun set with your fellow Porsche friends. Please feel free to bring chairs, blankets, jackets, light snacks, picnic baskets, etc to make your evening as enjoyable as possible.
Price is $10 per person on motorsportreg.com and $15 parking per car which will be paid by you near the bathroom kiosks. Unfortunately, no-shows and late arrivals will not be refunded so don’t be late as we will leave promptly. You must meet at the starting point at the Target parking lot in Mission Valley to sign waivers and receive wristband. Unfortunately, there is no option to meet directly at the Silver Strand State Beach.

Please know that when you’re attending these events, you’re representing Porsche Club of America San Diego Region and the greater Porsche community. The locations that we select are all in our own neighborhoods with many folks walking around whether it be with kids, dogs, grand parents, friends, tourists, etc. With that being said, please enter/exit the event and community in a clam, safe, respectful, quiet, and responsible manner. That means no revving your engine. No loud music. No speeding. No Tokyo Drifting. Hopefully, you get the message.
We do not want to receive complaints and then jeopardize these events as they have been very well received. Please do not be the one to ruin it for the rest of us as that is how we basically ended up at Jessie’s Bake Shop.
Lastly, since there is only one of me, if you witness someone doing anything that jeopardizes the event, please call them out on the spot and bring it to my attention. We’re all in this together and sometimes, it takes a village.
