Porsches and Pours – Brewery Tour
Sunday, September 12th ~ 12pm – approx 4pm

Our next Porsches & Pours event is going on the road!  We will pick you up at a location (to be determined later) at noon and journey to 3 breweries in the San Diego area.

Our first stop will be at AleSmith Brewing, where you will get your first beer flight or pint. Founded with a passion and respect for brewing in 1995, AleSmith continues to be recognized as one of the World’s foremost craft breweries on the strength of numerous awards garnered at prestigious local, national and international competitions. Consistently ranked in the World’s Top Ten list on the consumer generated website www.ratebeer.com, AleSmith is currently ranked #6 out of 33,000+ breweries worldwide. Family-owned and community-minded, AleSmith celebrates diversity, charity and the desire to deliver world-class beer with 5-Star service to their customers. www.alesmith.com

Next up will be exciting for our analytical beer enthusiasts… White Labs!  What began as home brewers searching for higher quality yeast, quickly grew into a team of dedicated biochemists exploring new ways to advance brewing altogether. Today, White Labs stands at the intersection of science, education and craft. Constantly striving for perfection, and in the process continually raising the bar in the art of fermentation. Every day, they set out on a single mission: To stretch the limits of science in order to set new standards in purity and freshness. From the industry’s first pitchable liquid yeast to a complete revolution in the way it’s propagated and packaged, their innovative spirit is tireless. And their belief that creating the best, most environmentally friendly products goes hand-in-hand with making the best use of them, has inspired a culture of education and collaboration with brewers, distillers and winemakers the world over.  This will be an educational and fun experience! 1 flight or pint per guest will be served as we tour their facility. www.whitelabs.com

Finally, we will end up at fellow PCA-SDR member’s brewery, Duck Foot Brewing. If one word was to describe them, it would have to be random. That word encompasses their brewing style, humor and design style. They love all things absurd and funny, and you’ll get a sense of that if you see their beer names and cans. There’s a whole lot of pride the brewing team takes in making all different styles of beers too. They’re kinda like an artisanal-beer-loving punk rock version of the Three Stooges. 100% of their beers are gluten reduced. With their founder and Head Quack, Matt Delvecchio, having celiac – it’s a must for him to enjoy all their beers. They’re proud to say this process comes at no cost to the flavor of their beer, which are judged as equals to other amazing craft beers…They’ve earned some awards of the years that they’re really proud of. From local competitions to the Great American Beer Festival – they’ve raked in a tidy treasure trove of medals.  www.duckfootbeer.com

Enjoy a relaxing afternoon with Porsche friends in exciting breweries. You will get a flight of tastings or a pint if preferred at each of the 3 venues, plus transportation to all 3 venues at the cost of $75 per person ticket. There will be a food truck on site at AleSmith for those of you who wish to grab a bite of food while we are out, on your own dime. You will be dropped off back at your pick up spot at approximately 4pm.  We promise to make the pick up/drop off location convenient to restaurants and shops so that you can dilly dally in case you are not yet ready to get behind the wheel of your Porsche.  Please drink and drive responsibly!

There is limited space available, so please RSVP as soon as possible!

Registration opens on August 1st at 9am: msreg.com/brewtour
